by | Oct 19, 2023 | Sin categoría

Dublin is a multicultural city with influences and inhabitants from all over the world. So of course, there are dishes and drinks from all over the world to try in the capital. From Italian, French and Greek to Japanese, Argentinian or Brazilian. There’s a lot to discover and we’ve got the list for you! Enjoy your culinary trip around the world!

French – Chez Max (Stop 2)

Chez Max is an authentic Parisian style bistro with a beautiful outside seating area right next to Dublin Castle. Take a break here on your day of sightseeing in the city or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening while you take in the atmosphere of Dublin around you. On the menu are French specialties like boeuf bourguignon, mussels and of course desserts like crème brulée and millefeuille.

Bon appetit!

Argentinian – Bakeology (Stop 5)

This lovely Argentinian bakery located in the Liberties offers a range of homemade empanadas, alfajores, medialunas and other traditional baked goods. Have a chat with the friendly Argentinian employees at Bakeology as your food is prepared and choose a coffee or tea to accompany your dish. If the sun is out, try an iced coffee with Dulce de Leche To Go as you continue your day in the city.

The Ramen Bar – Japanese (Stop 1/ 2)

Big ramen or rice bowls, composed with delicious vegetables, sprouts or meats, traditional Japanese drinks and of course yummy mochis for dessert. In The Ramen Bar in Dublin‘s city center you will be able to get a taste of Japan and will definitely not be leaving hungry. With a relaxed and bar-like atmosphere as well as friendly and attentive staff, you’ll easily feel welcome and might already be planning your next visit.

Portuguese – Lisboa Pastelaria (Stop 1)

Have you ever been to Belém and tasted the original Pasteis de Nata? Then this café will bring you back there in a heartbeat with just a bite of their Portuguese pastries. Inspired by the gourmet specialties available in Portugal’s capital, Lisboa Pastelaria offers sweet and savory pastries, sandwiches and a variety of coffee drinks. Located right in the city center, it’s the perfect spot for your breakfast or just a snack on the go.

Greek – Mykonos Taverna (Stop 2)

Dream yourself to the blue ocean, white cities and sunny weather of the Greek island Mykonos as you enjoy authentic Mediterranean food like Gyro, Dolmades or Moussaka at Mykonos Taverna. The restaurant with a small outside seating area is located on Dame Street and is immediately recognizable by its blue and white storefront.

Italian – Bar Italia (Stop 16)

No culinary list is complete without an Italian restaurant. And of course, there are plenty in Ireland’s capital, too. In the Italian quarter of the city, on the north bank of the Liffey, you find several Italian restaurants and bars as well as a little square, where you can enjoy Italian dishes or a glass of wine or Aperol in the relaxing evening sun. Bar Italia is one of those restaurants and offers fresh Pasta, Pinsa, Bruschetta and all authentic Italian foods that you love.
